Conor, our co-founder, had an idea for an inflation busting ETF strategy. Ambitiously he took the whole universe of US ETFs but excluded Bonds. With his core group in place he filtered these ETFs to include only those in the best 30% based on momentum. Next, he sorted by Relative Strength Index (RSI) and a portfolio size of 2 to identify the 2 most oversold ETFs. His personal strategy was created in just a few minutes and backtested against 17 years worth of the worlds best financial data.

For Aikido customers who already have an Alpaca account  set up, integrating is a matter of few fast clicks.

If you don’t have an Alpaca account set up yet and want to try it out, its also very quick to do.

A few key notes:
- As with all broker integrations we offer, the integrated Alpaca account can only be used with Aikido. Do not hold other assets in there. Sell them. Or set up a separate Alpaca account for Aikido. There are no sub accounts offered by Alpaca.

-  Integrated Paper trading on Alpaca will not be supported. Enjoy 1-click Aikido Paper instead.

Aikido Finance announces partnership with Alpaca Markets

Aikido customers have been enjoying the ease of automated trading since our 2021 partnership launch with 

Now in October 2022 Aikido and Interactive Brokers have launched improvements to the API integration for an even smoother experience. 

When your Aikido and IBKR accounts are integrated you can create, view and rebalance your investment portfolios using our quantitative strategies with ease.

To enjoy the benefits of automated trading you can simply pick a pre-built trusted strategy, create an investment portfolio and the trades are sent straight to IBKR. 

We've been working on ways to improve broker integration and keep up with changes by our broker partner 

 (IBKR).

In just over a week, users will be migrated to a new more seamless Aikido broker integration journey. We want to make sure that by then you have everything in order in your IBKR account.

Going forward your Aikido portfolio will need to be isolated within your IBKR account for rebalancing purposes. It ensures that non Aikido positions are never handled in your linked account.



If you have other positions in your IBKR account, you will need to separate them from your Aikido Portfolio.


This is easily done by creating a free Sub Account with 

Creating a sub account takes only a few minutes.

It can however take a day or more to be verified by IBKR.

Once it is verified you can easily move positions between your Master account and Sub account(s).

For any additional Aikido portfolio you open in the future, you will need to open a Sub account.

In just one year over 4,000 people have successfully embarked on their own journey as systematic, structured, and strategic investors in the stock market and crypto. This is just the beginning for them and for us, as we learn from them everyday.

As our year 1 comes to a close we bid a fond farewell to founder Shane Monks O'Byrne. His passion, vision and drive brought Aikido Finance into being and without him, we would not be here today. 

We are delighted to see Dr. Paul Clifford step up to the role of new CEO. Paul joined  the Aikido board of advisors earlier this year before taking on the role of Head of Quantitative Strategy.  He is well equipped to take the reigns as CEO with extensive expertise in trading and quantitative investing. 

Paul is supported by co-founder and CFO Conor Naylor and is entrusted by Shane to continue what has been started.

Since first discovering Aikido Finance I’ve known that it has the potential to transform the world of investing for everyone. 

To take over the reins as CEO, with such a talented team at my side is a privilege and I plan to fulfill the founding vision and even more
