INTRODUCTION

LIFE UNLOCKED LTD (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website https://www.aikido.finance/, including any other media form, media channel, or mobile website related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). Please read this privacy policy carefully.  If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason.  We will alert you about any substantive or material changes by posting a notice on the relevant service or contacting you if we have your details. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site. You can see when we last made changes by checking the “Last Updated” date.

Some personal information is transferred outside the EEA to third-party providers, specifically to authentication provider (essential feature) Auth0, mailing list manager MailChimp, and Google Analytics. This data transfer is done securely by using the third-party’s purpose-built APIs.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your email and display name which you give to us when you register with the Site or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Site, such as voluntarily leaving feedback. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from being able to use certain features of the Site.

Your email is collected for identification and contact purposes. A display name is collected so that other users may see when who created a custom strategy.

Authentication on our site, the handling of username and passwords, as well as third-party authentication via OAuth2 is managed by Auth0, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions. Our mailing list is handled by MailChimp who store your email address when you opt-in to our newsletter on registration or through the site footer.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your last access time.

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) is stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Other Data

The Site may by default access your Facebook basic account information, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, as well as other information that you choose to make public. We can only access this information if you choose to register an account using Facebook third-party OAuth2. The Site may by default access your Google basic account information, including your name, email, birthday,  as well as other information that you choose to make public. We can only access this information if you choose to register an account using Google third-party OAuth2.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

STORAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We secure your personal information on an Amazon RDS instance which is hosted in Dublin, Ireland. This data will be stored for a period of 6 years after you are last active. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your personal data from our servers. Any personal data that is no longer needed may be deleted before the 6 year period ends, in order to comply with the principle of storage limitation.

NEWSLETTER

On registration you agree to opt into our newsletter, you are free to opt-out at any time. You may opt-out by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any newsletter received from us.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

By Law or to Protect Rights

If you create a custom strategy on the site, other users may see your display name as the creator.

We may share your information with advertisers and investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. This information will usually be shared in an anonymised, aggregated format where possible. We may also share your information with such third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law.

Sale or Bankruptcy

If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger, or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your information to the successor entity.  If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party.

Session

To track whether or not you are logged in, a session token is stored in your browser. This session token is generated and maintained by Auth0.

The Site  may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links to leave the Site, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Site.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use administrative and technical measures to help protect your personal information.  No personal information is stored on site, but rather is securely stored on an Amazon RDS server or by a secure third-party service such as Auth0 or MailChimp. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.  Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 18. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 18, please contact us using the contact information provided below.


CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.  No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.
